On July 27, I will be placing an order for the new In-Color Polka Dot ribbons.  Would you like  a sampling of the ribbons?  Here’s the deal.  For $18, you’ll get 3 yards of all 6 colors of the above ribbons.  That turns out costing you 1 dollar per yard.  You’ll end up with 18 yards!!  The deadline to let me know is July 27 no later than 7 pm. 

If I need to ship your ribbon to you, please add $1.75 to your total.  You can pay me via credit card, payal or personal check.  If you write me a personal check, I will need to have the check in my hands by July 23.

Can you tell I like Regal Rose?  It’s been one of my favorite SU colors for a long, long time.  There’s no telling how many packs I’ve ordered throughout the years!   All  the cards below were made with using the Regal Rose DSP level 1 hostess bennies.  It’s a 6×6 pack of DSP papers.  Kind’ve like a really nice sampler.  It’s perfect for cards or accenting scrapbook pages.  I plan on using these cards for my SA Sistah’s birthday cards.  I’m so bad about not sending cards if I don’t already have them made.  No more excuses!  So check out my cards…

Can you say smores?  Yum-oh!  Every time I think of smores, I think of when I was growing up.  We had a really nice trailer and we would go camping.  We didn’t exactly rough it, but we did have a great time.  I can remember the smell of charbroiled hamburgers followed by roasting marshmallows.  Nothing was better than hot roasted marshmallows, creamy melted milk chocolate, and graham crackers.

Saturday was a total blast for me.  Yes, it was a very busy day, but I had fun.  I had a Stampin’ Up! workshop for Janet.  Janet belongs to the “Red Hats.”  You know, you’ve seen them in the restaurants and kept sneaking a peek.   Janet herself is as beautiful inside as she is outside.  She’s the one in the picture below with her “red hat” turned cock-eyed.  She sent me the picture below in an email.

  “We had great fun playing with your “Stampin Up”.  So glad you could come see our Roaring Ritzy Red Hatters in action.  Remember you are never too old to play.” 

What an attitude.  What struck me is “Remember you are never too old to play.”  What a classy lady, uh what classy ladies!!  I hope I can be just like them when I grow up.  Just 4 more years and I can be one of those classy red hatters.

Oh and I learned something about the “red hat” ladies.  Did you know that on their birthday month, they dress opposite?  The lady in the back is dressed in white and has on a purple hat because her birthday in in the month of May.  Her name is Pauline.  Let’s see if I can remember the ladies names.  On the front row from left to right Effie, myself and Joy (I’ve always loved that name).  On the 2nd row it’s Janet, Diane, and Pauline.  Also in attendance was Jennifer (Janet’s daughter) and Misty (a co-worker).

So, what did we do?  Janet wanted to do a sour cream container and 2 simple cards.  Of course, you know we have to use purple and red at least once, so we did! 

It’s hard to believe that it’s May!!  Where did all the months go?   Before we know it, we’ll be seeing Christmas ads in the newspaper and on television.  I’m just not ready to even think about it!  Although, I am ready to think about spring and summer.  I’m especially eager to think about vacation!
