Nothing to do with stamping…

Alright this has absolutely nothing to do with stamping.  I just had to share a little fun we had last night.  Check out our little gingerbread man!  Isn’t he a sweet little thing?

On the 3rd day of Christmas….

On the 3rd day of Christmas my Elfie gave to me……  a jar chocked full of chocolate!!!  Oh, and check out the rub-ons!!!  You can order those rub-ons thru SU.  So give me a call!!!

That has to be my favorite DSP of all time, Merriest Moments.  I can keep that jar forever and use it next year.  And of course, I’ll fill it with chocolates but I’ll keep it for myself!!  Thanks Elfie!!

Oh, and Gracie thanks you too!!

Birthday Presents for Me!

Yesterday was my birthday.  It was a pretty good day all in all.  It’s not like it was my 30th birthday or my 50th birthday, but somewhere in between.  You’ll have to guess my age!

I’ve been blessed by so many friends over the years.  My newest group of friends are located on Stampin’ Addicts.  No, I’ve never met them in person, but I’ve talked with them for well over a year now.  We’ve become tight knit group of ladies during this time.  Some have kids, some have grandkids, some don’t have kids at all.  The one thing we have in common is the love for life, stamping, and our friendship.  I wouldn’t trade this group of ladies for anything.

We set up little secret pals.  So far, we’ve done secret cupids, secret bunnies, secret elves and birthday fairies.  I think you get the idea of what I’m talking about.

This year my fairy was the best ever.  Of course, I can’t give away her name because that would mean that the other sister’s or sistah’s (that’s what we call each other) would figure things out.  Anyway, let me show you some of the things she made me!!!

Check out the cute wrapping paper!!

I have that stamp and now I know how to use it!

She must have thought I might cheat because everything was double wrapped.  She’s a sly one!

And this!!!!  I adore it!

Oh so cute!  A little coaster album!  Inside the pages are Old Olive and they are ready for me to add pictures!  Yay Me!!!

Isn’t this a cute, sweet note card???

And….here’s the note card holder.  Check out the faux metal embossing!!

Here’s everything except one gift.  It’s below.  Did you see how she decorated a simple peice of tissue??  Did to you see the glitter pen?  My girls will be all over that!  Look at the cute note pad.  It has magnets so that I can stick it to my fridge!

This is a smarty little “birthday rolodex”  No more excuses to forget birthdays!!  Why can’t I think of things like this??

This is the last one and look what it says!!!  “Do Not Open Until December 25th!”  UGH!!!!!!

So tell me ladies, am I not spoiled?  Tell me what you think of all these lovely treasures from my special friend!!!  I’d love to tell you who it is, but I can’t.  It would spoil the surprise for my other sistah’s!!!

Blog Candy to Jump Start My Blog!

It’s time to jump start my blog again since I’ve been so lame!!!  I’m sorry that I haven’t posted lately.  One of my New Year’s resolutions is to keep up-to-date on my blog!!!

Send a comment of what you makes you keep returning to a blog.  Please don’t tell me it’s someone that posts once everyday, once a week or even once a month.  I know I’m bad.  Is it…

  • the simplicity of the projects that are posted?
  • the details of of the projects that are posted?
  • is it hoping to win blog candy?
  • is it the way the blogger writes?
  • is it videos?
  • are you looking for instructions on a particular technique?
  • is it for fresh ideas?
