Finally, more club pictures for January!!

Happy New Year!!

I hope this year brings you lots of happiness, new friends, and good health. So far, it’s been a wonderful new year for me. I know, I know, it’s only January 8. Guess it doesn’t hurt to be optimistic!!

Stamp Club Pictures

Wahoo! Finally finished projects two and three of stamp club! I had finished the first project just after Christmas. It feels good to have the projects ready for club. Now I can play around with some of the swaps that I’ve joined. I think I’ve got a total of 3 swaps going!

Okay, so here’s the second project. If you want to see the first project, scroll on down.

Add Image

What did I use?

  • Stamp Set – Priceless
  • Cardstock – Old Olive, Baha Breeze, Tangerine Tango, and Whisper White
  • Stamp Pads – Old Olive, Baha Breeze, Tangerine Tango, and Real Red
  • Accessories – Circle punch (different sizes) , scallop edge punch

The third project uses a techniqued called “faux tile.” Using the bone folder, I scored every 1/2 inch diagonally. Afterwards, I simply stamped my image. I also used the “huffing” technique. I don’t really know that it’s officially called “huffing”, but that’s what I’m calling it!

What did I use?

  • Stamp Set – Inspired By Nature
  • Card stock – Mellow Moss and Whisper White
  • Stamp Pad – Mellow Moss
  • Markers – Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa, and Chocolate Chip
  • Accessories – Bone folder and sponge

Scrapbook Club Picture

We always do 2 pages at scrapbook club, I’ve only completed the first page. Even still, I wanted to go ahead and post so that you could see the colors. The theme is “winter” or more detailed “Baby, It’s cold outside.” I love that song, but I don’t know all the words so I make ‘em up as I go along…hmmmm…kind’ve like this page!

What did I use?

  • Stamp sets – Snow Burst
  • Card stock – Brilliant Blue, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
  • Stamp Pad – Craft White, Brilliant Blue
  • Accessories – Big Shot, Irridescent Ice, Volume 2 of “Write Me a Memory”

I don’t know if you can really tell it but the words on the title of this page shimmers. I hope you can see it because it really pops in person!

I’ve got blog candy!! The winner will be the 1st person that can tell me what the 2nd stamp set was used on the scrapbook page above. The winner will receive 1 ziplock baggy with a variety of ribbon. There will be 10 yards of ribbon the baggy. The deadine is January 15, ‘08 at 4:30 pm. Good luck!
